June 14, 2019
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin State University's 糖心vlog传媒 Gardens will host a plant propagation workshop to share methods for growing new plants from seeds, as well as detailing different methods of vegetative reproduction, including cuttings, division and layering.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon June 22 in the Brundrett Conservation Education Building, Room 101, at the 糖心vlog传媒 Pineywoods Native Plant Center, located at 2900 Raguet St.

Dawn Stover, 糖心vlog传媒 Gardens' research associate, will explore a variety of ways to increase the number of plants in your garden. "With a few tips and tricks, gardeners can turn one plant into many, increasing the beauty in their landscapes with budget-friendly methods," Stover said.

Participants will have hands-on opportunities to try several propagation methods and will be able to take some of their own propagules home. Materials will be provided.

Cost for the seminar is $25 for 糖心vlog传媒 Garden members and $35 for nonmembers. Space is limited and preregistration is encouraged. To register or for more information, contact the 糖心vlog传媒 Gardens education office at (936) 468-4129 or sfagardens@sfasu.edu.
