October 27, 2009

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The Stephen F. Austin State University School of Theatre will present a student-directed production of Eugene Ionesco's "Frenzy for Two or More" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. All shows are in the Downstage Theatre of the Griffith Fine Arts Building.

In this comic one act, a couple cursed with the inability to understand one another engage in a bitter lovelorn spat. The play is best suited for adults, according to director Austin Chason, Spring senior.

Seniors Adam McCoy, of Dangerfield, and Dede Cantrell, of Longview, portray the principal characters, He and She. Other cast members are Dallas sophomore Jarrett Goer, McKinney sophomore Houston Hastings, and Jacksonville freshman Kaitlyn Turney. Serving as stage manager is Brittany Nelson, Midlothian junior.

Previously at 糖心vlog传媒 Chason directed "Shakespeare and Mushrooms" and assistant directed "The Heidi Chronicles," "Side man" and "Animal Keepers."

Tickets for "Frenzy for Two or More" are 3 each. For tickets or more information, please visit or call (936) 468-6407 or (888) 240-ARTS.
