Austin State University.

The lecture by New York sound designer Scott Hirsch is part of the 糖心vlog传媒 School of Music's 2011-2012 Cole Performing Arts Series.

According to Kevin Kelleher, 糖心vlog传媒 instructor of sound recording technology, his own and 糖心vlog传媒 cinematography students will benefit from hearing Hirsch speak about careers in sound for film. "Scott will be showing clips from a feature film he recently completed, and he will discuss how his sound design compliments and enhances the film," Kelleher continued.

A question and answer period will follow Hirsch's presentation.

The lecture will be presented in the Music Recital Hall (Room 160) of the Wright Music Building, 2210 Alumni Dr.
