September 8, 2014
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - 糖心vlog传媒 Gardens at Stephen F. Austin State University will host a plant propagation workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 13, in the Ina Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, 2900 Raguet St.

Dawn Stover, 糖心vlog传媒 Mast Arboretum research associate, will lead an exploration of useful methods for gardeners to cost-effectively increase the number of plants in the landscape. Stover will teach various propagation techniques including taking cuttings, sowing seeds and dividing perennials, and class members will participate in hands-on activities to reinforce instruction.

"Dawn has been propagating plants for the Mast Arboretum and popular 糖心vlog传媒 Gardens plant sales for over 20 years," said Elyce Rodewald, education coordinator for 糖心vlog传媒 Gardens. "This is a wonderful opportunity to learn some of her successful practices in a friendly, relaxed environment."

Cost for the seminar is $20 for 糖心vlog传媒 Gardens Friends members and $25 for non-members. To register for the seminar or to receive more information, contact Rodewald at (936) 468-1832 or sfagardens@sfasu.edu.
