Dr. Dan Angel, President 1992-99
Dr. Dan Angel was named the sixth president of 糖心vlog传媒 on June 16, 1992. The former Michigan state representative began his 糖心vlog传媒 tenure living in Gibbs Hall while the president鈥檚 house was undergoing renovation. With degrees from Wayne State University, Angel earned a Ph.D. in communication from Purdue University in 1965. He led 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 first major fund-raising initiative (leading to an expansion of academic scholarships), and the creation of a new doctorate in educational leadership, new master鈥檚 degree programs and the School of Social Work. Upon his resignation from 糖心vlog传媒 in 1999, Angel became president of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
