Dr. Hunter Hampton, associate professor in Stephen F. Austin State University鈥檚 Department of History, authored and is set to publish the book, 鈥淭he Gridiron Gospel: Faith and College Football.鈥� The book will be published Dec. 23 by the University of Illinois Press.

Students in Stephen F. Austin State University鈥檚 Nelson Rusche College of Business stepped into the spotlight during finals week for the Swift-Mas Showcase, an event supported by 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 Arnold Center for Entrepreneurship that highlighted student innovation and creative problem-solving throughout the fall semester.

Stephen F. Austin State University鈥檚 Student Association of Nutrition and Dietetics, or SAND, held a fall food drive in partnership with Texas Student Dietetic Association collegiate chapters across the state. The association collected over 350 items for the 糖心vlog传媒 Lumberjack Pantry, a food and essential-needs pantry operated by 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 Health and Wellness Hub.  In partnership with the National Constitution Center, Stephen F. Austin State University鈥檚 Department of Education Studies will host 鈥淧ast as Prologue: Teaching the Civic Story of the United States,鈥� a professional learning event for preservice and in-service teachers. The conference will feature keynote speaker Dr. Court Carney, professor in 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 Department of History.
