NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Due to the snowfall in the East Texas area and expectations for continued freezing temperatures, Stephen F. Austin State University classes and all campus activities scheduled for Monday, Jan. 11, have been canceled. ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½â€™s Early Childhood Laboratory and Charter School also will be closed.
The ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ administration and University Police Department will continue to closely monitor weather conditions that will impact East Texas, according to Dr. Scott Gordon, ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ president. Additional weather-related announcements will be posted on the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ website and Facebook page.
Current ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ students, faculty and staff were notified of the closure via Jack Alert, the university’s emergency messaging system.
All essential ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ staff members, including UPD officers, are to report for duty as scheduled.
