Axe ’Em, Jacks!
NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥揝tephen F. Austin State University art alumna Emily Fleniken will be the guest speaker at the School of Art鈥檚 Graphic Design Portfolio Night from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, in Room B121 and the front art gallery of the Art Building off Wilson Drive on campus.
Fleniken, a 2013 糖心vlog传媒 graduate, is co-owner and creative director of Lemon Seed Marketing, an agency specializing in strategy and branding for the home services industry.
Following Fleniken鈥檚 remarks, students Sandy Garcia, art/graphic design senior from Garland; Marcus Jackson Jr., art/digital media senior from Dallas; Brendan Lardie, business/marketing senior from Houston; and Heath Sharr, art/graphic design senior from Jacksonville, will present their 鈥淭railblazers鈥 collaborative marketing communications design campaign they created for client and presented at the American Advertising Federation regional competition in Austin on April 13.
糖心vlog传媒 art/graphic design student portfolios will be critiqued between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact the School of Art at (936) 468-4804.
