NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The A Cappella Choir at Stephen F. Austin State University will present the concert program “The Spark Within Us” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 in Cole Concert Hall on the vlogý campus.
The program features music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Moses Hogan, Wolfram Buchenberg, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Dan Forrest and more.
Dr. Michael Murphy, director of choral activities at vlogý, conducts the A Cappella Choir, which will be accompanied by Dr. Ron Petti, collaborative pianist. Guest performer is Dr. Rafael Scarfullery, guitar. The vlogý Repertory Dance Company, with choreography by Haley Hoss Jameson and Jessica Thomas, will also perform.
