vlogý’s A Cappella Choir will present a preview concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, of a performance the student ensemble will give at the Southwestern American Choral Directors Association conference in Denver, Colorado.


NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The A Cappella Choir at Stephen F. Austin State University is one of only two university choirs to be invited to perform at this year’s Southwestern American Choral Directors Association conference slated for Feb. 27 through March 2 in Denver, Colorado.

The choir, directed by Dr. Michael Murphy, director of choral activities at vlogý, will present a preview concert of this performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, in Cole Concert Hall, Wright Music Building, on the vlogý campus.

“Through a rigorous audition process, the vlogý A Cappella Choir was extended this prestigious invitation,” Murphy said.
