Using the calculator

Fill in the purple fields on the document’s right hand side. These fields are based on your circumstances and require information about the following:

  • Housing
  • Credit hours
  • Financial aid award package ― Your financial aid award package can be viewed in under "Offers" for the current aid year. 

What costs are included in the estimate?

The calculator estimates net price information, defined as "estimated costs," and includes tuition and required fees, housing, meals and other related expenses to appear on your bill. It does not include estimated grant and scholarship aid.

The estimate is based on what similar students paid in a previous year and does not represent a final determination or actual award of financial assistance, or a final net price. Cost of attendance and financial aid availability changes year to year. The estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the institution of higher education or the State.

Eligibility requirements

Students must complete the (FAFSA) in order to be eligible for and receive an actual financial aid award that includes federal grant, loan or work-study assistance. Visit for more information on applying for federal student aid.
