NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥撯 Dr. Hunter Hampton, associate professor in Stephen F. Austin State University鈥檚 Department of History, authored and is set to publish the book, 鈥淭he Gridiron Gospel: Faith and College Football in Twentieth-Century America.鈥 The book will be published Dec. 23 by the University of Illinois Press.
