NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The Stephen F. Austin State University College of Fine Arts and School of Music will present the Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band performing the music of composer Steven Bryant in a concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in W.M. Turner Auditorium on the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ campus.

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music and Cole Performing Arts Series will present "Into the Wild: The Songs of John Duke" at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, in Cole Concert Hall on the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ campus.

The program will feature pianist Dr. Ron Petti, director of accompanying at ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½, and members of the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ voice faculty, including Debbie Berry and Charlotte Davis, sopranos; Dr. Jamie Dahman and Dr. Tod Fish, tenors; Dr. Deborah Dalton and Nita Hudson, mezzo sopranos; and Dr. Scott LaGraff, baritone.

Nacogdoches artist Wally Knight works on his Day of the Dead altar that will be among other altars on display as part of the "Día de los Muertos: Art of the Living and the Dead" exhibition showing from Nov. 1 through Jan. 4 at The Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House in downtown Nacogdoches.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Gardens will host the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, in Room 110 of the Agriculture Building on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University.

Dr. Matthew Kwiatkowski, ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ professor of biology, will present "Critters that Slither and Hop in Your Garden: The Reptiles and Amphibians of East Texas."
