NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥撯 After a hiatus due to COVID-19, students in Stephen F. Austin State University鈥檚 School of Human Sciences concluded their sixth Cooking Matters program Monday with a 鈥淛eopardy鈥-style nutrition game, a potluck and graduation ceremony.
During the six-week collaboration with the East Texas Food Bank, 糖心vlog传媒 students enrolled in Justin Pelham鈥檚 community nutrition class worked with Nacogdoches community members to educate them on healthy eating habits and budgeting.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 Stephen F. Austin State University graduate student Jessica Gryder will present her Master of Fine Arts candidacy exhibition 鈥淎naglyph: The Collision鈥 Nov. 15 through 19 in the front gallery of the 糖心vlog传媒 Art Building off Wilson Drive on campus.
An exhibition reception is planned for 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, in the front gallery. Admission and reception are free.

糖心vlog传媒 Music Prep students qualify for All-Region orchestras
NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 Fifteen students in the Music Preparatory Division of the Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music were selected for TMEA All-Region High School Orchestra and Middle School Orchestra.
Qualifying for the high school orchestra were Holden Kelly, Luke Scala, Haylee Harman, Sabrina Flores, McKenzie Ellison, Karys Alders, Kira Gallander, Josue Morales, Will Sams, Grace Hao and Mason Baker, who also earned principal bass position and advanced to the state audition.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 Stephen F. Austin State University bands will present the annual Kaleidoscope concert featuring all three concert bands and multiple faculty and student chamber ensembles at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, in the Grand Ballroom of the Baker Pattillo Student Center on the 糖心vlog传媒 campus.
The idea of a 鈥渒aleidoscope鈥 concert is for there to be no breaks between performers to make it 鈥渁 seamless concert switching from one group to the next,鈥 according to Dr. Tamey Anglley, director of bands at 糖心vlog传媒.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 The Jacks of Steel at Stephen F. Austin State University will present the ensemble鈥檚 fall program at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, in Cole Concert Hall on the 糖心vlog传媒 campus.
Under the direction of Dr. James Vilseck, adjunct professor of percussion in the 糖心vlog传媒 School of Music, the steel band will perform a program that features 鈥渁n energetic combination of traditional calypsos, sambas and popular music.鈥

NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 The jazz bands at Stephen F. Austin State University will welcome Marine Corps trombonist Gunnery Sgt. Ken Ebo to perform on a concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, in Cole Concert Hall on the 糖心vlog传媒 campus.
