Prominent Donors to be honored at 33rd annual 糖心vlog传媒 Gala
NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 Stephen F. Austin State University will recognize several prominent donors who have supported the institution during the 33rd annual 糖心vlog传媒 Gala, slated for Saturday, Jan. 27, in the Baker Pattillo Student Center Grand Ballroom. Hosted by the 糖心vlog传媒SU Foundation, the annual black-tie event honors generous benefactors to the university; showcases the impact of their giving on the students, faculty, staff and programs; and reiterates the need for the university鈥檚 endowment.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 Dr. Brad Meyer, associate professor of percussion at Stephen F. Austin State University, will present a faculty recital performing works by Caleb Pickering, Arnor Chu, JacobTV and John Luther Adams at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, in Cole Concert Hall on the 糖心vlog传媒 campus. This event features adult language and subject matter that may not be appropriate for some audience members.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 Dr. Richard Novak, associate professor of voice at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, will present 鈥淪tations of Mychal,鈥 a song cycle commemorating the life, ministry and death of New York Fire Department Chaplain Father Mychal Judge, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, in Cole Concert Hall on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University.
Viticulturist to speak at February Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series
NACOGDCOHES, Texas 鈥 Stephen F. Austin State University鈥檚 糖心vlog传媒 Gardens will host the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Feb. 8 in the Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, located at 2900 Raguet St.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 Candace Nelson is a serial entrepreneur, 鈥淪hark Tank鈥 guest shark, New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, and an expert in turning one's passion into a profitable business.
She also is the guest speaker for the fourth installment of Stephen F. Austin State University鈥檚 Nelson Rusche Distinguished Lecture Series, slated for 7:30 p.m. March 26 in the Baker Pattillo Student Center Grand Ballroom on campus. A private reception and book signing will be held prior to the lecture at 6 p.m.
糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 MLK Day of Service rescheduled to Jan. 20
NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 Stephen F. Austin State University鈥檚 Student Development and Access Services within the Division of Student Affairs announced they have rescheduled MLK Day of Service to Jan. 20 due to impending poor weather conditions.
Originally slated for Jan. 15, the event honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who inspired thousands of people around the United States to make positive impacts in their communities, according to Ja鈥橵on Long, assistant director of student development.
糖心vlog传媒 calls for entries in Texas National 2024
NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 Stephen F. Austin State University School of Art鈥檚 call for entries in the 2024 Texas National Competition and Exhibition will remain open through a Feb. 2 deadline. Texas National features an assortment of art from various media, according to Weelynd McMullan, exhibition coordinator for The Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House where the exhibition will show from April 12 through June 30.
