NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The Alazan Piano Trio, composed of faculty members from the Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music, will present "An Evening of American Chamber Music" at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, in Cole Concert Hall on the ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ campus.
Violinist Jennifer Dalmas, cellist Evgeni Raychev and pianist Ron Petti have not performed as a trio in a few semesters, and they are happy to be working together again, promoting works by American composers, said Dalmas.
To open the program, Dalmas and Petti will perform William Bolcom's "Second Violin Sonata."

ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ releases spring enrollment figures
Stephen F. Austin State University has reported a spring student enrollment of 11,896, a 1.1-percent decrease from last year. The number of ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ students attending classes decreased by 133 students from spring 2010 to spring 2011.
The spring 2010 enrollment of 12,029 was the highest spring enrollment in the university's history and marked a 7.2-percent increase from the previous year. Although this spring's enrollment is slightly down from last year, it represents the second-highest spring enrollment in the university's history.
ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ to host Showcase Saturdays for prospective students
Future college students will have the opportunity to experience a taste of campus life during two free, action-packed open-house Saturdays at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches on Feb. 26 and March 26.
Prospective students will get to visit with university faculty and staff, tour the campus and residence halls, and preview academic programs during the two ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Showcase Saturday events.
