NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Mast Arboretum at Stephen F. Austin State University will host its monthly Les Reeves Garden Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, in the Agriculture Building Room 110 on Wilson Drive. Dr. Matthew Chappell, extension horticulturist and assistant professor at the University of Georgia, is the featured speaker and will discuss his research involving new plants and gardening needs for "marginal" and non-gardeners.

Scholarships are available at Stephen F. Austin State University for bilingual students pursuing a Master of Social Work degree and seeking a career in mental health in Texas after graduation.
"Two scholarships were awarded in the fall semester, and a third is available through competition for a student beginning the MSW program at ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ in the fall 2009 semester," said Sharon Templeman, ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ associate professor of social work and director of the master's degree program.

Students entering seventh and eighth grades are eligible for the middle school camp to be held Sunday, June 7, through Friday, June 12, and students entering ninth through twelfth grades can register for the high school camp to be held Sunday, June 14, through Friday, June 19.
