NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 The University of Texas System Board of Regents has unanimously voted to name Neal Weaver, PhD, the sole finalist to become the next president of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches. Weaver has served as president of Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) 鈥 a member of the University of Georgia System based in Americus, Georgia 鈥 for the past seven years.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas 鈥 Stephen F. Austin State University has announced the 2024 recipients of grants issued through its Center for Applied Research and Rural Innovation.
The center鈥檚 steering committee selected nine proposals with awards totaling more than $215,000. Now in its third year, the CARRI grant program is part of 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 effort to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the university鈥檚 12-county coverage region.
